What is the Ozlo Hardware Subscription Subscription and how does it work?

The Ozlo Hardware Subscription is a service that lends you one pair of Ozlo Sleepbuds for a low monthly price. There are no commitments and you may cancel anytime by returning the product. If your device breaks or is defective, just let us know and we'll either help you get it working or swap it out for you free of charge.

How is Ozlo Hardware Subscription different from financing?

The Ozlo Hardware Subscription is not a financing (i.e. "buy-now-pay-later" by Affirm, Klarna, etc.) nor a rent-to-own program, so you don’t have to commit to a purchase spread out over a period of time until fully paid off.

How do cancellations work?

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. We will send you a pre-paid return label and pause any subscription payments for 7 days to give you enough time to pack and ship your item before your next billing date. You must use the packaging your order was originally delivered in. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time remaining on your subscription. If you don’t return your item, your subscription payments will continue as normal.

What does new or like new Sleepbuds mean?

Your Sleepbuds will either be new or refurbished. Each pair of refurbished Sleepbuds is thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and tested before shipping. All Sleepbuds include brand-new eartips and come with a lifetime warranty.

Do they have noise cancelling?

Our Sleepbuds® feature passive noise cancellation to block out snoring and other disruptions. In addition, we offer “noise masking” audio content (think, white noise, ocean waves, babbling brook, etc) to cover up and replace any sounds that bleed through the passive seal of the comfortable silicone tips. This “block and replace” noise-masking technology is different from active noise cancellation, and our testing indicates that it’s more effective for the sleep use case in a bedroom environment.

Can I stream anything?

Yes. Ozlo Sleepbuds® can stream anything (Netflix, Spotify, Audible, Youtube, etc) that a normal bluetooth headphone can.

Do they have an alarm?

Yes, Sleepbuds® have a built-in private alarm which can be set up through the Ozlo app. The alarm doesn’t require the phone to be connected, and still works even in bluetooth disabled mode.

Is there a phone-free mode?

While a phone and an active bluetooth connection are necessary to initially set up and to stream audio, your Sleepbuds® can be configured to automatically play your built-in Sleep Sound as soon as you take them out of the case. No phone or bluetooth connection required.

What is the wireless range?

Ozlo Sleepbuds® have a range of up to 10ft (3 meters) from the Smart Case. The Smart Case has a range of up to 10ft (3 meters) from the source device (like a phone). This range may be reduced by physical obstructions, such as walls and doors, or by interference from other electronic devices. 

Does the Ozlo app work on Android and Apple Devices?

Yes, the app will be available for Android phones running Android 12 or later and Apple iPhones & iPads running iOS 17 or later.

    A good night's sleep is worth the hefty price

    My partner snores, and unfortunately, I am a light sleeper. After using Apple AirPods for a while to mask the sound, I had to find something more comfortable.

    The price of the Ozlo Sleepbuds is hefty, but after using the sleepbuds for a couple of months now, they are worth it. They are comfortable, last through the night and have important features such as being able to set an alarm and a wide range of masking sounds. And most importantly, they mask snoring sounds effectively! It might take some trying out to find the sound that will work for you, but once you've got it, you're set!

    I did have one of the sleepbuds die on me after just a couple of weeks. Fortunately, after a few e-mails with support, they offered to replace my set with a new one. This replacement set has been working without any issues since. Thanks goes out to Renz and Naro for their support!

    Actually works!

    I’ve tried some other sleep buds that haven’t worked well and was hesitant to try these, given the price. But I’ve found that they’re 100% worth every penny. As a side sleeper, they’re the most comfortable ear buds I’ve used. They last the whole night. And the masking sleep sounds that Ozlo has created are so well engineered to cover the types of sounds that keep you awake, in my case my husbands snoring! Because these don’t have active noise cancelling technology, I was skeptical that they’d truly cover the sound of loud snoring but I was totally wrong. These transformed my sleep, as well as my husbands sleep. Very thankful they exist!

    Excellent at blocking sound

    I’ve been using the Ozlo Sleepbuds and overall, they’re excellent. The sound quality is great, the noise masking works well, and they’ve definitely helped me fall asleep and stay asleep as I am a very light sleeper and suffer from bilateral tinnitus

    However, as a dedicated left-side sleeper, I’ve run into a recurring issue: the left earbud becomes uncomfortable overnight, and I often wake up with soreness or even pain in that ear. It seems the pressure from lying on that side compresses the bud into my ear. I am only using just one bud for the moment and I am considering getting a pillow with an ear cutout.
