What is the Ozlo Hardware Subscription Subscription and how does it work?

The Ozlo Hardware Subscription is a service that lends you one pair of Ozlo Sleepbuds for a low monthly price. There are no commitments and you may cancel anytime by returning the product. If your device breaks or is defective, just let us know and we'll either help you get it working or swap it out for you free of charge.

How is Ozlo Hardware Subscription different from financing?

The Ozlo Hardware Subscription is not a financing (i.e. "buy-now-pay-later" by Affirm, Klarna, etc.) nor a rent-to-own program, so you don’t have to commit to a purchase spread out over a period of time until fully paid off.

How do cancellations work?

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. We will send you a pre-paid return label and pause any subscription payments for 7 days to give you enough time to pack and ship your item before your next billing date. You must use the packaging your order was originally delivered in. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time remaining on your subscription. If you don’t return your item, your subscription payments will continue as normal.

What does new or like new Sleepbuds mean?

Your Sleepbuds will either be new or refurbished. Each pair of refurbished Sleepbuds is thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and tested before shipping. All Sleepbuds include brand-new eartips and come with a lifetime warranty.

Do they have noise cancelling?

Our Sleepbuds® feature passive noise cancellation to block out snoring and other disruptions. In addition, we offer “noise masking” audio content (think, white noise, ocean waves, babbling brook, etc) to cover up and replace any sounds that bleed through the passive seal of the comfortable silicone tips. This “block and replace” noise-masking technology is different from active noise cancellation, and our testing indicates that it’s more effective for the sleep use case in a bedroom environment.

Can I stream anything?

Yes. Ozlo Sleepbuds® can stream anything (Netflix, Spotify, Audible, Youtube, etc) that a normal bluetooth headphone can.

Do they have an alarm?

Yes, Sleepbuds® have a built-in private alarm which can be set up through the Ozlo app. The alarm doesn’t require the phone to be connected, and still works even in bluetooth disabled mode.

Is there a phone-free mode?

While a phone and an active bluetooth connection are necessary to initially set up and to stream audio, your Sleepbuds® can be configured to automatically play your built-in Sleep Sound as soon as you take them out of the case. No phone or bluetooth connection required.

What is the wireless range?

Ozlo Sleepbuds® have a range of up to 10ft (3 meters) from the Smart Case. The Smart Case has a range of up to 10ft (3 meters) from the source device (like a phone). This range may be reduced by physical obstructions, such as walls and doors, or by interference from other electronic devices. 

Does the Ozlo app work on Android and Apple Devices?

Yes, the app will be available for Android phones running Android 12 or later and Apple iPhones & iPads running iOS 17 or later.

    Love them!

    This is my 3rd pair. I keep one at our vacation home, one at home and this new set for traveling. I used the Bose version for years and was disappointed when they were discontinued. These are much better—longer battery, interfaces with my phone, etc. I’m a side sleeper and my husband is a loud snorer. These work great!!

    I think from many people they may work but for me they just don’t they still hurt when you’re all over and ultimately kept me tossing and turning all night

    Superior to the Bose iteration

    While the comfort is comparable, the longer battery life (can last a good 10 hours) is superior to Bose (8 hours if you were lucky after the first few months), as are the selections of white/background noises. My anxiety to buy extra pairs is real.

    lifesaver!!!

    I was struggling to sleep for months living in an old building on a busy city street, and these have been a lifesaver. I'm a side sleeper; it took me a couple weeks to get used to the earbuds but now I hardly feel them. I keep the volume at 50% or lower and it's enough to tune out most outside noise. I will say they're not noise cancelling so I still have trouble falling asleep with neighbors stomping overhead, but once I'm asleep I only wake up to the alarm in the earbuds. Gone are the days of getting woken up at the crack of dawn by my neighbors' spawn running laps around the apartment! My one complaint is that the connection process is a bit clunky. I wish these would connect automatically when you take them out of the case like airpods so I could use them without looking at my phone at night.

    Life Changer

    I have sufered for years with insomnia, waking up every 2-3 hours. I bought the Ozlo Sleepbuds when t hey were in therie kickstarter days and right off the bat, I was sleeping through out the night. I am a side sleeper and have bnever had any discomfort or issues with the buds falling out. The Slumber studios podcasts knock me out and the smooth transition from story to sound masking keeps me asleep. In addition to the product is the customer support. I can't say enough about the team's dedication to fixing issues. They have actually had zoom calls with me in the early days when I was having connectivity issues. The current platform has eliminated all the bugs and is extremely user friendly when firmware updates are required. Bose made a mistake letting this product and team go!

    I really like these! Not only are they small enough not to interfere with a comfortable nights sleep, but i can fall asleep to my audio book and then sleep sounds kick in after. All while drowning out my husbands snoring. Yay!!!
